DescriptionRefers to enclosed letters [not included] to be shown to secretaries of the Royal Society and then filed; namely, a letter from Sir Edward Appleton regarding difficulties arranging a visit by Polish [scientists]; a letter from Dr Armstrong regarding a letter from Davies about UNECO [United Nations Educational and Cultural Organization] and the fact that the Association of Scientific Workers wanted additions to Davies' memorandum on the subject; a letter from Professor Blackett announcing the death of Professor Geiger; a letter from Mr Bromley in the Foreign Office regarding a visit by Dr H J Muller.

Pencil annotations on the letter, noting it should be forwarded to Professor Archibald Vivian Hill and Sir Alfred Egerton. Another notes states that Professor Geiger is not a Foreign Member of the Royal Society.
