TitleLetter from Professor F G Donnan, to Sir Henry Thomas Tizard, [Royal Society]
Date11 July 1945
DescriptionThanks to the Cultural Relations Committee of the Royal Society for their appreciation of the work done by the Society for Visiting Scientists and for conveying that appreciation in a letter. Donnan states that although a rumour mentioned by Tizard that the Society for Visiting Scientists may have to cease using the Club House in Old Burlington Street was untrue, their future would soon need to be considered. Donnan proposes a meeting between the Royal Society and the Society for Visiting Scientists' Executive Committee to discuss future prospects.
