Includes discussion of the amount of capital to be transferred to the Royal Society under Browne's will and the manner of its transfer; how to dispose of one of Browne's properties, 14 Hollycroft Avenue, Hampstead, intended for sale by auction, following a dispute with the neighbour, Mrs Poole, concerning works done to the approach to the properties; the expenditure and commitments of the Browne Fund, 1 November 1938-17 August 1939; whether the income received by the estate following Browne's death, but prior to to the taking of the Residuary Account, may be regarded as income of the Browne Fund or as capital of the Fund; the requirement of a specimen of the Royal Society seal for transfer of stocks forms to be issued by the Crown Agents for the Colonies and the Bank of England; transfer of stocks to the Society and re-investment of the proceeds from stocks redeemed from the Estate; correct completion of a Bank of England Dividend Request Form; a demand for a War Damage Contribution from the Royal Society in five installments on the "Barncroft"property in Tring; remaining transfers of an annuity account and a life interest in favour of Miss Janet Ritchie in the "Barncroft" house; receipt of the final balance due from the executors; the increased income of the Browne Fund following the death of Miss Ritchie in 1955.
