'Having read the very obliging letter written by Order of the Court of Directors of the East India Company, and delivered to me by Captain Wilson; direct me to request you to present their thanks to all the Gentlemen in the Direction; for their great Civility to the Society, and for their generous attention to the advancement of useful knowledge. They are also much obliged to the Court, for the very satisfactory information communicated by Captain Wilson.'
