Title'Defence of the Resolution for omitting Mr Panizzi's Bibliographical Notes from the Catalogue of the Royal Society'

DescriptionPanizzi was employed by the Royal Society to produce a catalogue of the scientific books in the Society's Library. This contract was terminated in 1834, after Panizzi stopped working on the catalogue believing the Society to have broken the terms of his employment. Panizzi published a pamphlet giving his account of this incident. This pamphlet is a reply from the Royal Society.
