DescriptionRelating to the bequest made in 1728 by Thomas Fairchild of £25 "to be placed out at 20s annually" for preaching a sermon at St Leonard's Church, Shoreditch, on Tuesday in every Whitsun Week.

The note states the subject of the sermon should be "The Wonderful works of God in the Creation" or "on the certainty of the Resurrection of the Dead proved by the Certain Changes of the Animal and Vegetable Parts of the Creation".

This note appears to have been written after Fairchild's death.
