DescriptionOn understanding that Sir Edward Sabine would collect documents. Stewart has written to Gassiot pressing for information on them and can do no more. Sabine has done the Kew Committee great service in proving his method of reduction, and only deaths have prevented him doing more. Stewart has no details of tabulation and reduction prior to 1865.
