DescriptionEncloses the manuscript of his paper 'On the results of recent explorations of erect trees containing reptilian remains in the coal-formation of Nova Scotia' for publication in the Philosophical Transactions. Comments on some illustrations and informs White that he will send photographs and specimens by steamer, the latter to be shown at the Royal Society before being deposited with the British Museum. He has yet to prepare an account of his grant expenditure.
