DescriptionUrging Banks to order the return to him of the tables and other documents which have been wrongly deatined. He declaims against the injury and injustice done to him by witholding any reward from him.

Mason contacted Banks on behalf of his Mother, Mary Mason, widow of Charles Mason, astronomer, believing his father's work on the Longitude problem deserved reward.
