DescriptionA rectangular snuff box the lid inlaid with a miniature (damaged) of William I, King of Wurttemberg, wearing a blue uniform with gold lace, with the Order of Military Merit and Stars of the Order of the Crown of Wurtemberg and the Order of Frederick, framed in rose-cut gemstones, the spandrel matted and applied with chased and blue enameked scrolls, further set with 6 collet-set gems, the sides and base engine-tuned within coloured gold scrolled borders and corners, the interior of the lid with a presentation inscription in French, dated "Stouttgart le 22 Mars 1844" to Monsieur de Vignobles, Ingenieur civil'.
