DescriptionAdare was unable to send Sabine the charts of Valentia. Adare is looking forward to hearing about Sabine’s plans. Adare intends to remain in Dublin until the 20th and then travelling to Adare. Adare asks Sabine if he has any idea how long James Douglas will remain in Limerick. Adare has recently written to Dr Robinson. Adare asks Sabine when he is expecting ‘young Ross’ [James Clark Ross]. Adare mentions seeing Sedgewick and [Roderick] Murchison who will be at Killarney before the ‘meeting’. Discussion on the prospect of travelling to Valentia with Sabine. Adare is able to meet the geologists at Killarney. Reference to a Valentia railroad, and comments on how a railroad across England and Ireland.
