DescriptionRefers to the attachment of ‘a naturalist collector to the astronomical expedition to the New Shetland Isles of 1871’. Remarks on the desirability of the natural history departments at the British Museum to have such a collection, as they do not at present old any specimens from the “New Shetlands”. Owens asks Sabine’s advice regarding this.
