Description | Sabine acknowledges receipt of Boguslawski’s letters. Boguslawski’s letter dated 7th September was read at the [Mathematical and Physics] Section of the British Association at Glasgow and listened to with interest. Sabine is sorry to hear that Boguslawski still suffers from the effects on influenza and shares his own experience. Discussion regarding Boguslawski’s suggestions of a channel of communication via the Prussian Embassy. Sabine was glad to learn Boguslawski was able to start the ‘August term’ [observations]. Refers to Toronto observations of the aurora. Sabine requests Boguslawski to send him abstracts of the term observations. Sabine has ‘not received any packet from’ Boguslwaski by the Prussian Ambassador. Discussion regarding the difficulty Boguslawski has faced in obtaining a separate magnetic observatory. |
