Sabine suggests Birt should clearly specify why the observations at Greenwich are ‘deficient’ to those at Kew, in order to argue for the continuance of these observations. Remarks on the completeness of the meteorological observations at Greenwich. Refers to [George Biddell] Airy’s ‘disposition’ to make his Observatory as efficient as possible.
