DescriptionTennant intended to visit Sabine, however, was informed by Mr [Warren] De la Rue (Tennant was visiting D la Rue regarding the ‘other eclipse expedition’) that Sabine would be at Burlington House. Taylor hopes to offer Sabine his ‘spare time’ for wok once the eclipse is over. Tennant expresses his happiness at a spectrum expedition to take place and hopes himself or [Frederick William] Herschel will be ale to do more than just ‘characterise’ the spectrum.
