Sealed and delivered in the presence of Michael Wicks and Richard Shortgrave. Endorsed verso.

With a second manuscript bond beneath the standard document: 'London. February 22 1675. At Mr Oldenburg's. I Edward Bernard Professor of Astronomy in the University of Oxon doe request to worthy Dr Wallis my good Colleague & Deputy to pay for me in like manner as he does for himself my duty to the Royall Society & it shall be humbly acknowldg'd allow'd & repay'd by me upon my return to England, if God wills.'
