Asks if the matter should be brought to the Council or be dealt with in the interim. Assumes the Royal Society will not forward the money. Encloses letter from J. H. Delby to Lord Northampton [Spencer Joshua Alwyne Compton, President of the Royal Society] and documents from Governor [George] Simpson [of the Hudson's Bay Company] [Neither are present].
