DescriptionInforms Lord Northampton has applied for 50 copies of his volumes, and as there are only 10 of the 1841 and 22 of the 1842, asks to who they should be sent first. Sends a list of institutions to whom the volumes will be sent and also asks for any additions [Not enclosed]. Asks for Airy to referee a paper by Capt. Shortrede 'On the moist-bulb problem' as Lubbock, for various reasons, cannot.
