DescriptionSends the 'Encyclopedie du 19 Siecle' for Lubbock's inspection. Mentions the titles already given to the Royal Society by Lubbock, which includes unusual magnetic disturbances by Lt. Col. [Edward] Sabine and 'Magnetic and Meteorological Observations at Greenwich in 1842'. Sends a copy of the state of the Rumford fund, which in 1839 stood at £121. 12. 6. and no award was given last year.
