Title | Copy letter from Edward Sabine, Foreign Secretary fo the Royal Society; to Sir F [Francis] Beaufort |
Date | 7 January [1850] |
Description | Makes no apology for troubling Francis Beaufort with the instruction to have one of the enclosed letters forwarded to Captain [Richard] Collinson, and the other to Captian [Thomas] Graves. Also requests Captain Miles be asked to look up Mancet's bottle, and have it put in order of necessary by Jones. Informs that Dr Forchammer has been asked by Sabine to investigate the density of sea water.
