DescriptionHaving brought the letter before the President and Council of the Royal Society from the Hudson Bay Company to reclaim the expense of Sir John Ross's expedition into the Arctic Sea to find Sir John Franklin and his colleagues, replies the Society has no funds currently to cover this. Can only hope the expedition is successful.
