Description'Gentlemen, With this I forward to you an official notice from the Treasury that £1000 is ordered for payment on "the government granr" account. May I request you to make the necessary application for the money, and to place it upon a deposit account to the credit of the fund, bearing the customary rate of interest, which just now I am informed by Mr Lubbock is 2 per cent'.
