|Writes to A. Macfarlane in regards to his suspended Government Grants application since the summer, in which Macfarlane stated he will either take the £100 from his old application or submit a new one for December. States that if the Royal Society does not hear from him the old application will also be dropped and explains there is not much time to apply.
