DescriptionOn a resolution put to the War Committee on the need for an official badge for men engaged in scientific work connected with the war effort. Giving the circumstances of the resolution: that chemical laboratories were experiencing difficulty in recruiting young and competent assistants, who prefer joining the forces unless some outward sign of their importance was available. Asking if the recipient supports the issue of a Royal Society badge.
