Title | Letter from Dugald Clerk to Admiral Sir Henry Bradwardine Jackson, The Admiralty, Whitehall |
Date | 23 December 1914 |
Description | Thanks Jackson for his letter of the 21st with its note. He will retain it to read with Professor Petavel but not circulate it to the committee. Sends a model anchor made at Cambridge by Professor Hopkinson. It has been modified and tried in sand with excellent results. The buoyancy of the floating body will need to be reduced and Clerk makes suggestions for this. |
