Title | Letter from J T [James Thomson] Bottomley, Netherhall, Largs, Ayrshire, to [Joseph] Larmor |
Creator | Bottomley; James Thomson (1845-1926); Irish physicist |
Date | 17 December 1911 |
Description | He asks if Larmor remembers speaking to him when the last volume of the papers had just appeared, with regard to remuneration, and Larmor said he would consider the matter. Lady Kelvin has been speaking to Bottomley again and he would be obliged if Larmor would say what was acceptable. Lady Kelvin feels deeply grateful for the labour and care and is about to write to Larmor, but writing on such a subject is not possible for her. She is well, and today is the anniversary of her loss. Larmor should write to him at University Gardens. |
