TitleLetter from A [Albert] Bruce-Joy, the Studio, Beaumont Road, West Kensington, to Sir Joseph [Larmor]
CreatorBruce-Joy; Albert (1842-1924); Irish sculptor
Date28 July 1910
DescriptionHe is quite ready to receive the advice of members of the committee and friends of the late Lord Kelvin about the statue. He hopes Larmor can spare the time to see the work. He would like Larmor to roughly draw the sounding machine or any of the other inventions. The compass looks quite well he thinks, but he does not want to go further without the advice of Kelvin's friends, the few he can trust to. He is anxious that Lady Kelvin should not be invited until others had seen it.
