TitleLetter from H A [Henry Andrews] Bumstead, American Embassy, Office of the Scientific Attaché, 30 Grosvenor Gardens, London, to Sir Joseph Larmor, St. John's College, Cambridge
CreatorBumstead; Henry Andrews (1870-1920); American physicist
Date22 August 1918
DescriptionLarmor's manuscript has just arrived. He has not read it but will do so before sending it along. He is glad to transmit it for Larmor and asks how many separate copies of the printed paper he would like. He wishes that Larmor would let him have a longer paper for the Physical Review. Page's complete paper was published there and the Review would be pleased to have something from Larmor. Bumstead is President of the American Physical Society this year, so the invitation may be regarded as official.

In a manuscript postscript, Bumstead has realised that since reading the paper, Larmor wrote that he has promised another to the Physical Review. He is pleased that Larmr speaks so highly of Page. With some annotations and marginal equations by Larmor.
