TitleLetter from V [Vilhelm] Bjerknes, University of Christiania, to [Joseph] Larmor
CreatorBjerknes; Vilhelm Friman Koren (1862-1951); Swedish physicist and meteorologist
Date11 August 1912
DescriptionHe has informed Professor Hobson that he is unable to come to the Congress of Mathematics at Cambridge, for which he is sorry. He would especially have liked to hear Larmor on the Dynamics of Radiation. He is preparing to leave Christiania for a couple of years and is taking up a professorship in geophysics at Leipzig. He hesitated and hopes not to remain there forever, but it will allow him to realize his plans for rational meteorological investigations. He asks to be remembered to Darwin, Lamb and Love.
