TitleLetter from William Hill, Greenhithe, Kent, to H[enry] B[owman] Brady
Date29 May 1890
DescriptionConfirms that the little box with the slide of Barbados limestone arrived safely at Hitchin. Does not know the stratigraphical relations of the Amphistegina limestone of Barbados but is sure from Brady's letter, which he sent to Jukes-Browne, that the rock is one of exceptional interest and will afford an important link in the geological history of the island. Asks Brady to accept a slide of it as it seems to be a good specimen of its kind.
