DescriptionAgendas, minutes, correspondence and panel reports relating to the Royal Society Subcommittee on Planetary Sciences of the British National Committee on Space Research. Includes a 31 May 1977 press release on the transfer of Luna 24 samples from the USSR Academy of Sciences to the Royal Society. Agenda from 27 April 1978 contains a reference to a film about Luna 24 sent from Moscow. 1970-1971 records are outliers and concern the Planetary Sciences Study Group, with the majority of records from 1977 to 1979 concerning the Subcommittee on Planetary Sciences.
