|Title||Letter from George Gabriel Stokes, Lensfield Cottage, Cambridge, to Charles Vernon Boys |
|Date||6 December 1890|
|Description||'My dear Sir|
You are quite right. Strange to say I had not thought of it, though I am so familiar with seeing, and in teaching to my class, that in diffraction and interference phenomena the fringes or other appearences are on a larger scale for the red than for the blue.
Yours very truly'
