TitleLetter from Carl Braun, Mariaschein, Bohemia, to Charles Vernon Boys
Date10 August 1899
DescriptionBraun's cure has not been as effective as previous ones, nevertheless he is ready to continue his experiments. He had hopes to find the quartz fibres on his return but still has much to do. If they were with him by November, that would be in time. He has considered that they may be sent with the help of the Minstry of Instruction, thereby circumventing customs officers. Braun has now made three pairs of small masses, reporting on these. He hopes to have the loan of a good chronometer from Vienna.
