DescriptionComments how nice it is that the Italians recognise her sister's [Helena's] work and how much it is owing to Mackenzie Davidson's input that Helena has made a success of it. Hopes that the helpers who were sent out will enable Helena to come home for a little while. Informs Mackenzie Davidson that her sister Valda would have liked to join Helena but cannot leave England because of her son. Complains of an injury to her ribs.
