DescriptionLetters from Chevalier Michela Rosa of Modena concerning his physiological discoveries. Notes on the two main volumes state that this group of materials was presented on 29 April 1784 and 17 March 1785 respectively, by the translator the 'Marquis de Hautefort', presumably Armand-Charles de Hautefort (1741-1805), 7th Marquess, translating from Italian to French.

These letters are in fact memoirs cast in an epistolary form.
