DescriptionBotanical study of a specimen of Milleria. Specimens of this plant were first brought from Mexico to Britain by Dr William Houstoun in 1731. A specimen of this plant was also noted in 'A catalogue of the fifty Plants, from Chelsea Garden, presented to the Royal Society... 1749' by John Wilmer, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society volume 46, issue 495 (1750), p.404.

Pale green plant showing small yellow flowers open and in bud. Inscribed in ink 'Milleria annua erecta, foliis conjugatis floribus spicatis luteis. Houst.' Not signed.
