DescriptionSabine sends Lloyd a dip circle and two needles which he would like Lloyd to convert to dip and force needles on Lloyd's plan. Lloyd may send them back with Mr Douglas, 'son of the General'. Discussion of some results of the Irish magnetic survey. Sabine asks permission to send a copy of Lloyd's latest paper to [Christopher] Hansteen. Sabine encloses letters from James Clark Ross for Lloyd's perusal [not enclosed], also sends a box containing 'a 'good species of Ainsworth's Lootie Spillite [sic.]' [not enclosed].
