DescriptionLudlow informs Lloyd that Mr [Thomas] Grubb has not yet sent him the diameters for the wheels that Lloyd had sent him. As Ludlow has micrometrical apparatus, he cannot account for the accuracy of his measurements.

Discussion on the horizontal force and vertical force magnets. Ludlow is pleased with the description of the changes to the vertical force magnet and asks Lloyd if he could inform him of a maker as he would like to get one.

Ludlow discusses intentions to continue term day observations.
