Discussion on the strength of the magnets in Riddell's possession. Lloyd suggests not to remagnetise the magnets of fair strength, and how to get a good deflection form the weaker magnet. Lloyd praises Riddell's idea of observing the temperature corrections of the vertical force. Discussion on the August term day. Lloyd informs Riddell of sending another letter through Edward Sabine regarding six months returns. |
