Discussion on the use of two iron bars. Lloyd notes that this would be an obvious improvement. Professor [Alexander Dallas] Bache was the first to adopt this. Discussion on new instruments. Riddell discusses adopting the collimator chiefs for the absolute declination. The adjustments and formula for computation remain the same as before. Discussion on inducing the coefficient.
