Donkin is looking forward to seeing Sabine’s introduction to the St Helena volume [of observations]. Refers to the Astronomische Nachrichten and a paper ‘Corrispondenza Scientifica Di Roma’ by Father [Angelo] Secchi regarding a hypothesis which accounts for every particular of the solar influence.
