An original paper label has been preserved with the inscription: 'Bessel's Stars from 0 degrees to 15 degrees South, brought up be precession from 1825 to 1875. Deposited at the Royal Society by request of R.C.Carrington Esq., Jan. 1867 [eg 1876?].
