DescriptionA note on the first page states that the paper was not printed. A note states that the paper was delivered in two lectures to the Royal Society at Gresham College, London on 29 April 1680 and 6 May 1680.

The paper combines biblical scholarship and mathematics for the calculation of the date of Easter. There are several marginal notes which may be in a different hand to the paper itself. There are four pages of tables showing calendar calculations. There are several references to the golden number.
