He has found 1200 new species of fish in the Amazon alone and made observations on the encroachment of the sea on the land. Comments on Agassiz's vitality and his collecting of 200 barrels of specimens and his interest in local geology. Thorpe's management of the Cotton Supply Association's affairs, with personal information.. |
