The catalogue contains occasional provenance information on donors and dates of acquisitions and provides page references to Nehemiah Grew's catalogue, ' Musaeum Regalis Societatis; or, A catalogue and description of the natural and artificial rarities belonging to the Royal Society, and preserved at Gresham Colledg...' Items have been checked and marked with red pencil, with crosses and in pencil with some re-numbering. Additions and omissions have been made by pasting paper slips at the appropriate points.
The manuscript has a typed paper label on the first bundle of papers: 'MS CATALOGUE B'. |
