DescriptionRegarding the missing Vols. 9-12 of the Cambridge Astronomical Observations. Charles Richard Weld replies he has no recollection of seeing these volumes, although a conversation with Mr. [James] Challis suggests they were sent to the Royal Society some time ago. Suggests the volumes may have been sent to the Foreign Office to be transported to the Continent and become mislaid.
