DescriptionExplains Thomas Maclear's letter was received during the Royal Society's recess to request copies of the 'Philosophical Transactions' between 1820 and 1830. Informs the Council will be unable to comply as the Royal Society do not have a regular set. The Transactions due to Maclear were prepared but not sent, in the expectation that Mr. [Haneline] might call for them.
