DescriptionRegarding the default of Henry Edward Napier's annual subscription. Charles Richard Weld replies that Henry Edward Napier's agents are not know to him, and that Weld's appointment as Assistant Secretary came after the sudden death of his predecessor. Napier's address on the books was Florence and as he did not contact to correct it, the letter was addressed to there. Asks for Napier to appeal to the Royal Society on the reason for the carelessness of his agents. [See MS/426/135 and MS/426/170]
