DescriptionConcerning the Kaiser of Prussia [Frederick William/Friedrich Wilhelm] receiving an honorary Fellowship. Letter is written under the instruction of the Duke of Sussex [Augustus Frederick]. States the King of Prussia has been recognised, internationally but particularly in Germany, for his patronage of Science, Literature and Art. Informs of the decision of the Council to hold a meeting on the date of his choosing, so he may attend and sign the Charter Book. If this will not be possible, a delegation will be formed await on the Kaiser for the purpose, and to have the Duke of Sussex 'represent on that occasion'.
