DescriptionHaving referred to Melville's letter concerning the Magnetic and Meteorological Observations in India, informs of the decision of the Council. That is to request the Board of Directors of the East India Company to sent 200 copies of the printed observations made at Simla, Bombay [Mumbai], Madras [Chennai] and Singapore and copies of observations made at Bomby and Madras since 1845. These will be distributed.
